Marty X Zest
I have spent some time with Marty and feel he is the perfect match for Zest. Both dogs are excellent markers and water dogs. Their pedigrees complement one another, they are both easy to train, biddable and fun to have around. Marty gets along well with a houseful of intact males: Zest is the same, easy going around other dogs and people. Both dogs have OFA clearances and are PRA, ICT and NCL clear. KC Back to the Future QA2 MH aka “Marty” is a handsome dark red boy who loves everyone he meets. Marty was on the Derby list with 12 points, achieved his QA2 title quickly and has 2 Open thirds and a Specialty Amateur win. He is also a house dog when not on the road and gets along well with the other intact males in his household.
Roger Fuller his owner writes this about Marty. “Some of my favorite memories of my time with Marty was watching him compete in Opens in the Mission Valley, Montana. He earned two Open placements (3rds) and was literally yards away from winning in the last series of both trials. I also had a great experience with him as Male Test dog for the National Derby Championship in 2020 at Sedalia Missouri. He was three days too old to enter the championship. But he performed beautifully as test dog and I think he would have been a finalist. Then last fall he took 1st place at the GRCA National Specialty Amateur Stake. No other dog picked up the money bird without a hunt. He went straight the fall and put it between his paws. And the crowd went wild!!!! Marty earned his MH in six tests. I wanted to earn his MH but I only run hunt tests when they are held on our ranch. He is such a wonderful, biddable dog to run. And he runs like the wind always giving maximum effort. At home he is a snuggle bunny spending as much time as I allow with his head in my lap soaking up attention.”
Zest
Heads Up Sparkle ‘n Splash *** QFTR MH WCX aka “Zest” is an outstanding girl. She earned her MH title is 6 straight tests, finished her QFTR quickly and then moved on to Open last summer. Zest has two CM’s in Open her first season out. We are training this spring in Texas in preparation for the 2025 trial season. Zest is beautiful, biddable, an excellent water dog, an outstanding marker and is totally amateur trained and handled. She is a house dog and wants nothing more than to be with me.
Serious inquiries are welcome from competitive working homes. We do not sell puppies to professional field trainers or to brood bitch homes. There are no pet home reservations available for this litter. A $500 deposit is required to reserve a puppy. The deposit is non-refundable unless we are unable to supply you with a puppy. Depending on US CDC puppy import regulations current at the time of whelping, the litter will be whelped and raised by me in either the US or Canada. Puppies will be ready to go to all their new homes at 7-8 weeks.
