Cynthia Murdoch is a valued member of the Heads Up team. Cindy has been involved with dogs all her life. She got her first golden retriever in 1985, fell in love with the breed and has never looked back. Cindy is an avid hunter and enjoys training her own gun dogs. She has co-bred some outstanding Heads Up litters and is the owner and trainer of one of our Outstanding Dams – HR Heads Up Red Sonja JH WC GRCA OD.

Cynthia's location in Washington State gives us excellent access to AKC hunt tests, as well as to Seattle Tacoma International Airport.

Jennifer Durocher Trainer

Jennifer Durocher

Jennifer has been involved in some type of dog training and competition since1990 -always with Retrievers. She started with Labradors, but once a Golden joined the pack, she was converted !
She has been an approved NAFA flyball judge since 1990 and trains Service Dogs for people with disabilities for her “real job”. She also instructs Agility and Obedience classes at two of the premier training facilities in SE Michigan. Her dogs have qualified for the AKC Agility Nationals every year that they have been eligible to compete as well as qualifying for the AKC Invitational in both Obedience and Agility. Heads Up Red Zinger, Zinga, won the preferred Agility at the 2015 Golden Retriever National Specialty and went on to finish 5th that same year at the Invitational in the Juniors category in the very competitive 20” class. Her current Agility dog MACH3 Heads Up Shine on Crzy Diamond is working on her MACH4 title and is currently in the GRCA top 20 Agility rankings despite a recent 6 month maternity leave.

She has put 8 Master Championship titles on four dogs in multiple venues as well as consistently being ranked in the Agility Top 20 for Golden Retrievers, and all of her dogs are in the GR Agility Dog Hall of Fame. Jennifer has competed in obedience, where she has two OTCH titled dogs with multiple High In Trials and High Combined’s as well as achieving advanced AKC Obedience and Rally titles. She is also involved with field work, where she is currently pursuing the final legs of a Senior Hunter title with Zinga as well as a Junior title on Shine and looking forward to starting Brienne, (Shine X Yeti), the new kid on the block. Jennifer’s location in Michigan gives us access to bloodlines and transportation hubs in the central and eastern part of the North American continent. She is the co-breeder of two lovely Heads Up litters.
